1. New SpamBouncer Package Released!
********************************
NetMAX SpamBouncer is an add-on package that adds email filtering capabilities to NetMAX Professional Suite 4.02. With this package, the NetMAX mail server filters and moves to a designated "spam" folder all messages that originate from:

• known "spam" offenders
• known open relay sources
• programs specifically designed to create and send bulk email
• anywhere if they contain specific words in the body of the message that are common to spam messages.

With this package, it is possible for administrators to globally define rules that prevent messages from being marked as spam, and/or for the user to create such exceptions using the NetMAX file manager interface.

2. Sendmail Patch
****************

An important security update to NetMAX L2.4Pv4.02 which addresses security vulnerabilities discovered in all previous versions of the mailserver daemon package (sendmail) has been released. These security vulnerabilities can result in privilege escalation, and possibly the execution of arbitrary code as the root user. It is strongly recommended that all users update their NetMAX 4.02 systems immediately by downloading the package titled: "NetMAX-Security_Sendmail_8_12_8" using NetMAX Package Management, or from our FTP site.

3. Magnia Sale Leftovers
