New SpamBouncer Package Released!
With this package, it is possible for administrators to globally define rules that prevent messages from being marked as spam, and/or for the user to create such exceptions using the NetMAX file manager interface. More details on SpamBouncer are available on the SpamBouncer product page at: http://www.netmax.com/products/spambouncer_prods.html
An important security update to NetMAX L2.4Pv4.02 which addresses security vulnerabilities discovered in all previous versions of the mailserver daemon package (sendmail) has been released. These security vulnerabilities can result in privilege escalation, and possibly the execution of arbitrary code as the root user. It is strongly recommended that all users update their NetMAX 4.02 systems immediately by downloading the package titled: "NetMAX-Security_Sendmail_8_12_8" using NetMAX Package Management, or from our FTP site. For more information on this vulnerability , please refer to: http://www.cert.org/advisories/CA-2003-07.html If you need
instructions on how to use NetMAX Package Management, http://www.netmax.com/support/installing_rpm_packages.html NOTE: this Upgrade will reboot the system.
So now you can get an SG20 for $550* with one 40 GB hard drive with NetMAX Professional AND VPN Server preinstalled! But there's only two of them available at that price, so move quickly if you want one! * Does not include tax, shipping, or handling.
We would very much like to hear from you - especially about how you use NetMAX and Linux in your business. You can contribute your input to the NetMAX Forum: http://www.netmax.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard/ikonboard.cgi or to our general NetMAX contact form: http://www.netmax.com/partners/contacts.html Let us know about your likes, dislikes, and general comments. We are especially interested in the type of additions to NetMAX Server you would like to see as we continue to develop the 4.x line. Thank you! |
