[Support] Daylight Saving Time Reminder 1. Daylight Saving Time Reminder Beginning in 2007, most of the United States begins Daylight Saving Time at 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 11th and reverts to Standard Time on Sunday, November 4th. Since this is the first year the United States is using these guidelines, your NetMAX servers will not be able to automatically compensate for the hour difference, and will need to be adjusted manually (this is also true for many computers, servers and other electronic devices). While this issue is not likely to "break" anything on your NetMAX, it will at minimum cause incorrect file timestamps. As such, the NetMAX Team recommends you manually check and correct the time on your NetMAX installations at your earliest convenience after 2:00 a.m. on March 11th (and November 4th). PLEASE NOTE! The NetMAX Team also recommends that you check the time on your NetMAX installations on Sunday, April 1st and Sunday, October 28th of 2007 -- these are the dates that Daylight Saving Time would have taken effect under the previous schedule. If you have questions about this procedure, or any other aspect of NetMAX, please contact NetMAX Support directly! 2. E-mail Attachment Size Limits NetMAX installs by default with limits set on the size of e-mail attachments, and will return an error message when these limits are exceeded. If you would like to change the file attachment size for incoming and outgoing emails, you can do so as part of your PHP Configuration. Just edit the following file:
The defaults, as set by NetMAX, are:
An edited mail server might use the following sample configuration in order to allow larger file attachments:
If you have questions about this procedure, or any other aspect of NetMAX, please contact NetMAX Support directly! In order to expand our line of NetMAX pre-installed servers, NetMAX has partnered with Equus Computer Systems. Over the next few months and as the NetMAX Team completes testing on the new hardware, watch for new offerings from Equus and NetMAX in the NetMAX Store! Since we know you're curious, here's a little info on Equus:
