| NetMAX Newsletter - June 2005 1.
[Support] Holiday Hours Monday, July 4th is Independence Day here in the U.S., and the NetMAX Team will be closing down to observe the holiday and grill burgers with our families and such. Because of this, NetMAX Support will not be available on Monday, July 4th -- but normal support hours will resume on Tuesday, July 5th. Because of these holiday hours, any orders received after 2pm on Friday, July 1st will not be shipped until Tuesday, July 5th. Sorry for any inconvenience, and have a happy holiday! 2. The detailed instructions for each of these steps can be found in the Support section of the NetMAX web site at:
3. Cybernet Systems Sponsors the NetMAX Desktop Project Cybernet Systems, the parent company of NetMAX, has officially announced that it is sponsoring the NetMAX Desktop Project -- the open-source development group that produces the full-featured NetMAX Desktop package. This committment ensures not only the continued development of the free Live-CD NetMAX Desktop, but the continued development of NetMAX commercial software to support and expand the functionality of the NetMAX Desktop when used in conjunction with NetMAX Servers. NetMAX Desktop is based on secure Linux, and released under the General Public License (GPL) at the project website:
And more information on this press release is available from the Cybernet Systems Corporate Home Page:
We would very much like to hear from you -- especially about how you use NetMAX and Linux in your business, and how we can make NetMAX better suited to your needs. Contribute your input to the NetMAX Forum at:
or to our general NetMAX contact form at:
Let us know about your likes, dislikes, and general comments. We are especially interested in the type of additions to NetMAX that you would like to see as we continue to develop the NetMAX line. Thank you! |
