[New!] New NetMAX L2.4Pv5.5 Release Coming! 1. New NetMAX L2.4Pv5.5 Release Coming! The NetMAX Team is putting the finishing touches on the documentation of the many new features included in the NetMAX L2.4Pv5.5 release. A special thanks to all of our beta testers who helped us determine what FAQ and manual updates were needed to support the new release! The new release is scheduled to occur as soon as these documentation updates are complete, and will occur in July. 2. Enabling Vacation Mode for E-mail New in version L2.4Pv5.5 of NetMAX Professional Suite will be the "Change E-mail Preferences" option, which is accessible by all users via the NetMAX interface. Change E-mail Preferences allows users to turn on/off vacation messages when they cannot access e-mail. An example vacation message would be the following:
The vacation functionality in NetMAX is smart enough to track e-mail addresses it has sent vacation messages to, and will not send duplicate vacation messages to any address that e-mails the user multiple times in a seven day period. Thus, a maximum of one vacation message per week will be sent to a single e-mail address. Users will also now be able to forward or cc (carbon copy) their e-mail to another address if they wish. Carbon copying and forwarding will both send incoming e-mails to the chosen address, but the cc option will also result in a copy of the forwarded e-mails being retained in the user's NetMAX mailbox. It's Independence Day, and like most stores and workplaces in the U.S., the NetMAX offices will be closed on July 4th in recognition of the holiday. Because of this, NetMAX Support will be closed on Tuesday, July 4th -- online help will continue to be available, and our technical support number will still be accepting support messages, but any support requests left via these channels will not be responded to until normal support hours resume on Wednesday, July 5th. PLEASE NOTE! Support -will- be available Monday, July 3rd. Thanks for your patience! We would very much like to hear from you -- especially about how you use NetMAX and Linux in your business, and how we can make NetMAX better suited to your needs. Let us know about your likes, dislikes, and general comments. We are especially interested in the type of additions to NetMAX that you would like to see as we continue to develop the NetMAX line. Thank you! |
