NetMAX Webmail Configuration Tips Once the NetMAX is installed, you must configure network settings, Next, the webmail specific parts must be completed: 1. Log into the NetMAX interface as an administrative user 2. Access HOME|Services|Mail 3. Place a check in the "Enable Webmail" box. 4. Select the "Host Name" you will use to access your webmail. 5. Select the appropriate "Website Method." If you have created or purchased and installed a certificate for the specified "Host Name," then selecting "https" is strongly recommended to allow secure encrypted access to webmail. 6. If "https" was specified for "Website Method",
then select 7. STORE and COMMIT changes. Webmail is now accessible at the selected website method and "Host Name", in the subdirectory "webmail". For example, if the "Host Name" were "mail.mynetmax.net" and the "Website Method" were "http," then webmail would be accessed at "http://mail.mynetmax.net/webmail" using a web browser. You can also find the webmail access URL under HOME|Services|Mail at the bottom of the "Webmail Options" table, after the NetMAX has finished commiting. To log into your webmail account, access the webmail access URL and provide your authentication information. NOTE: When specifying the value for "Name:" in the form, simply enter the user name for the account you are logging into. Do not specify the entire email address, as this will prevent you from logging in. Enjoy your webmail! 4.
