| NetMAX Newsletter - September 2007 1.
[Support] Holiday Hours Because of the Labor Day holiday weekend, the NetMAX office will be closed on September 3rd in recognition of the holiday. This means that NetMAX Support will be unavailable on Monday, September 3rd. Online help will continue to be available, and our technical support number will still be accepting support messages, but any support requests left via these channels will not be responded to until normal support hours resume on Tuesday, September 4th. Thanks for your patience, and have a happy holiday! 2. Editing SpamBouncer Whitelists If you are constantly getting the same valid email addresses filed into your e-mail spam folders, you can easily add entries to your nobounce/whitelist to have their mail go to your Inbox instead. Using a proper text editor (i.e., not Notepad or a Word Processor such as Word), you need to edit the following file in the appropriate user's home directory:
Valid entries you can use include full email addresses and domain names. More specific entries are better at avoiding false positives, and it is VERY important to ensure that you do NOT leave a blank line in the file -- this will process all mail to your Inbox, with no spam filtering at all. For a more detailed procedure, visit NetMAX Support:
If you have questions about this procedure, or any other aspect of We would very much like to hear from you - especially about how you use NetMAX and Linux in your business, and what features we can add to NetMAX to make it better suit your needs. Please contribute your input to the NetMAX Forum at:
or to our general NetMAX contact form at:
Let us know about your likes, dislikes, and general comments. We are especially interested in the features that you would like to see in the forthcoming NetMAX 6.0 release. Thank you! |
