[Support] Holiday Hours It's the holiday time of year, and We here at NetMAX would like to wish you all happy holidays in advance! Like many of you, we here at NetMAX will be spending the holidays with our families, which means that NetMAX Support hours will be reduced during the holiday season. The affected weekdays are: Friday, December 24th; Monday, December 27th; Friday, December 31st; and Monday, January 3rd. On these days, NetMAX live support will not be available, but help requests may still be left by phone or online, which will be checked at 2pm EST all of the affected days. Because of these holiday hours, any support requests or orders recieved after 2pm EST on the Thursday preceding any of these affected days may not be shipped until We resume normal support hours on the following Tuesday. Support requests left as noted above may be handled on these days depending on the nature of the issue, but will be addressed on the following Tuesday in any case. Thanks for your patience, and have a happy holiday season! The NetMAX team has worked hard this month to track down and eliminate a long-standing issue regarding Backups, and more specifically, the restoration of backups. The issue would most often manifest itself in situations where more than one backup session was stored on a single tape, and was characterized by the NetMAX requesting the administrator insert the correct tape, even when the correct tape was already in the system. You can apply the fix for this issue through the NetMAX Package Management System. The package itself is called restore_bkup-1.53-1 and can be found under the category "NetMAX Updates." For more information on installing NetMAX updates or using the Package Management System, please refer to:
