Yes, please see Knowledge Base article: "How

19. Can
I run a VPN client from behind a NAT'ed firewall with the NetMAX product?
No. VPN servers and clients must have public, routable IP addresses.
VPN remote clients are designed to be used in a single machine SOHO environment.
Frequently people attempt to put a client on a LAN workstation that is
behind a NAT'ed firewall. This configuration will not function. In order
to maintain maximum security, the VPN encrypts the source address in with
the data packet. When the NAT device gets the packet it attaches a new
source address to it. The packet is received by the destination VPN and
when unencrypted, the internal source address in still the original private
address of the LAN workstation. The VPN will not be able to respond to
the senders. This problem can almost always be worked around by some minor
adjustments to your LAN set-up. Please e-mail support for assistance at
support@netmax.com

20. Will
your VPN work with other VPNs or clients?
Yes, the VPN client that comes with Microsoft Windows 2000 will connect
to our VPN product. Also, most IPSec firewalls should work. Interoperability
is tested with Checkpoint, Intel, and Cisco, but other IPSEC VPNs should
be compatible. L2TP, and PPTP are not supported.

21. How
does the performance scale with the VPN Server Suite? / How does SMP affect
the performance?
NetMAX tested the VPN Server Suite with a wide variety of computers,
from older single processor systems to modern advanced SMP systems. Performance,
as defined by encrypted throughput, scales with processor speed, but not
the number of processors. A faster processor results in higher throughput.
VPN Server Suite ships with the addition of SMP; there is no need for
the patch discussed above. If you need higher performance, please choose
a faster single processor system.

22. Does
your product work with L2TP / Can I pass IPX/SPX through the VPN tunnel?
No, only TCP/IP will pass through the VPN tunnel. If you can first
encapsulate the information in a TCP/IP packet, it will work.
23. Can
I use PPTP with your VPN?
No, PPTP is a Microsoft proprietary product that will not function
with our VPN at this time. We are currently working on this and PPTP may
be compatible with our VPN in the future.
Top
24. Does
your product work with SKIP/FWZ?
No, most modern VPN solutions use IKE for key management. VPNs that
only use SKIP or FWZ are not in the majority and our product is not backwards
compatible with them.
