IV. Remote Install Method (NetMAX without Keyboard and Monitor)

This section assumes that after reviewing Chapter I, you selected the Remote Install Method for your NetMAX.

This section assumes that you are sitting at a computer that:

• is on the same LAN as the NetMAX
• is not the NetMAX
• has TCP/IP installed and configured
• has a Netscape Navigator 3.0 compatible web browser with JavaScript and cookies enabled, or Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 with Java and cookies enabled
• is physically close to the NetMAX
• is not using Mac/OS on a network with no PC or Unix machines (must use Console Install Method if such is the case)
  
• NOTE: IF you started a CONSOLE INSTALL and switched to a REMOTE INSTALL after setting up your NetMAX IP Address, begin at step 7.
