Configuring NetMAX to handle email for a domain. Accepting Mail for the NetMAX domains By default, the NetMAX assumes that any email sent to the hostname of the NetMAX remains on the NetMAX (i.e., is considered to be local). For example, if the hostname of the NetMAX is netmax.mydomain.net, only email specifically addressed to "user@netmax.mydomain.net" will be placed in the NetMAX's local mail queue. If you want NetMAX to handle mail for a domain, you must let the NetMAX to handle mail for that domain as well as letting it know to consider all mail local for that domain, then all domains (or hostnames) for the NetMAX are also considered local. In this case, email to "user 'at' mydomain.net" will also be placed in the NetMAX's local mail queue. Go to Home|Network|Domains
Another default is to only "relay" mail for domains that you handle mail for. This means that the NetMAX will not allow users of other domains to use your NetMAX for sending mail. If you need to specify other domains which should be allowed to use your NetMAX for sending mail, enter these domains or hostnames under Networks Allowed To Relay Email Through This NetMAX. Go to Home|Services|Mail
